Biker Kyle. Hmm. I just can't imagine him on a Harley. I mean - it's Kyle, y'know? Well, the Stranger (the author) did have this vision and tried this idea out for his first skin.

It's not a bad idea. In fact, if you did a search on our site right now, I'm sure you'll find a skin of someone in leather with tattoos. Yes, I know it's a stereotype, but ... well ... we have to generalize some things sometimes. Okay, so here's Kyle in mostly black - I'm assuming leather. He's got a belt with some symbol on it (according to the readme, it's a satanic symbol) that is difficult to make out in-game. He has a scar over his eye, a tat on his forehead, bright blue eyes and graying hair. I suppose, to some, this would classify him as a biker.

Unfortunately, this skin has nothing else to offer. The author said that he was just at a loss when it came to the pants and team support and wasn't comfortable with using his voice for new sounds. Simple solutions to those problems. :) You weren't sure what to make red and blue for team skins? Okay, make two completely different skins for Biker Kyle. Maybe one with him wearing another shirt, like, with the sleeves torn off to show off some more tattoos. Then that shirt can be red. Or something like that. Don't want to make the sounds yourself? Look around online. I'm sure you can find some sound clips of movie quotes, or some other lines from a video game. Use those. There's a lot you can do to improve this skin I think. Maybe others have some more suggestions. Keep at it! :)

DESCRIPTION :

Well, it's my first attempt to make a skin. It is based on the Kyle model (obviously). My idea was to make a badass (the jacket and tattoo), elderly (the graying hair), experienced (the scar), satanistic (the belt - i think it's called pentagon)... well, you get the idea :P The result is IMO... good. The jacket didn't line up perfectly, the tattoo isn't too visible in - game. And, AS USUAL, I had completely NO idea what to do with the trousers, and altough I knew what did I want to do with the boots, I simply couldn't find a pic I was looking for. Oh yes, I'm working on two other skins at the moment.

Biker Kyle has no team colors, bot/npc support, or new sounds. Why? Team colors - I actualy had no idea WHAT should be red or blue - the whole skin is basicaly black. No NPC or bot support, as I don't know how to make it (I'm planning to learn how to make it an NPC though). It also doesn't include new sounds, as... well, I'm only 15 years old, and my voice wouldn't sound too good on him :P So I used the standard Kyle sounds.

BTW. I'm sorry, but as I said, I had completely no idea what to do with the trousers, so I used the camo Jaden ones. This is kind of embarassing, but I don't know the author :( I got camo Jaden from The Jedi Academy server files, and I didn't find out who made it :( Realy, terribly sorry, believe me, if I knew the nick of the person who made it, I would put it here...

INSTALLATION :

Just extract the bikerkyle.pk3 file to your gamedata\base folder, located in Your Jedi Academy game folder (EXAMPLE: C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base).
