If a bounty hunter had a hideout, where would it be? What would it look like? What would you find hidden inside? Well, for Boba Fett's Hideout, you'd have to have a pad to land on. And wow. What a pad. It's a good start for a great map. When you walk through that very cool door there, you find yourself in a lovely ... well, almost a courtyard. There's a small creek running through and a beautiful bridge that takes you across to a small circular clearing with only one tree in the center. Then there's a building with very few hallways. Inside you'll see a Carbon-Freeze-Chamber-esque room and then outside again is a perfect area for dueling. Up on top of that platform that I'm not quite sure what it is. But it looks great. :)

I suppose I'm an easy person to please. I always love James' maps. But believe it or not, I have a few complaints! *gasp* First of all, what ship is that there, anyway? And where is Slave 1? There is a JK2 model of that. Why wasn't that used instead? Also, if this is a "hideout", why would there be jetpacks laying around everywhere? Why not create an armory for the jetpacks and weapons? Well, I know the answer to that ... gameplay would then suck. :) And finally, the FPS. Mine was fine, but on slower/older systems, it's going to be quite choppy for you in some areas. As always, it's a beautiful map, James. Though I'm not sure I'd want to play a guns FFA on it - it seems quite suitable for saber only FFA's, actually. Plenty of areas for dueling. Great job! :)

I wanted to do some kind of desing using patch meshes and cylinders and I came up with the idea of some kind of listening post
which turned out as a Huge dish, I had this idea that Boba Fett may have some little stop off points here and ther around the galaxy,
so came up with the idea of this being a hideout where the bounty hunter, would stop and dump cargo and the like.

The map itself started life as the next version of the Universal Trials/Training map that I did for the clan UNIVERSAL, some of you may recognise
the garden area of the map as it is basically what is left of the Universal Trianing map.  However I still devote this map to the Clan Universal...

The music included in the pk3 file is from the movie The Rock by MR Zimmer awsome...
