File Description

Well, I have absolutely no idea about scripting, and so...the author has decided to release a tutorial based around scripting! Yay! Now we might have some more ''advanced'' maps coming in from new mappers! But that's just a might. Anyways, since I have absolutely no idea how to do mapping, or scripting, for that matter, I'll just mention that there is some humor in this, so, yay, no down-to-earth-lecture-style-tutorials. We get some laughs. That's always a good thing.

TITLE:Brush Scripting Tutorial for Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast
AUTHOR:T551
E-MAIL:t551@mylinuxisp.com

FILENAME:Brush Scripting Tutorial.doc
FILESIZE:40.5 KB
DATE RELEASED:02 June 2006

CREDITS: DARTHG for his tutorial on Map-Center.com, from which I learned brush scripting.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Ummmmmm.... Unzip and open in MSWord

DESCRIPTION: A tutorial for mappers on how to use BehavED to make complex elevators, doors,
trains, etc.

BUGS: This document may be hard for stupid people to follow

COMMENTS:I spent a long time looking for tutorials on scripting, but I never found any on Filefront, and all the ones I could find were on NPC behavior and cutscenes. It was only recently that I found a tutorial for scripting brushes, and when I tred it, I found that it was pretty easy. So, I decided to write a tutorial on this useful procedure and post it on filefront, so that new modders don't have to go through what I did.
