File Description

Jan-Feb 2007 Contest Finalist - Advanced Skill Level

Description: This is actually a map built on descriptions of the room where Luke fought his clone. The name is taken from the book where this event occured. It's a high-tech arena which looks the part and plays well.

Pros:

  • Good application of interactivity.
  • Unmatched quality of texture usage and brushwork.
  • Complex bot routes.
  • Lighting builds good atmosphere.
  • Spacious, but not too spacious.

Cons

  • Music disrupts the map's atmosphere somewhat.
  • Ambient sound effects are an annoyance.

Note: This map has been given a generalized review to avoid any biasing of the voters. All maps, both finalists and non-finalists from all three skill levels will be properly re-reviewed after the contest.

Map description :
This Actually is a map built on descriptions of the Room Luke fought his clone
and was made for the jk3files mappingcontest 2007.
So I decided to name the map like the book was named: "The last command".
You can decide if you want o fight on the Catfloor all along the map or just use
the space around it to experiance the Influence of jour Lightsaber on some consoles
or Pipes.
I tried to use as good as I could a perfect mix of detai and performance mapping.
So there are lots of details in the textures I made for this map. I actually
used only just about 4 original shaders and Textures. So I hope you will enjoy my
work and have as much Fun as I had playing it.
