Another day, another FFVII file. Man, this long-running fetish is starting to get predictable....

Well, all the ol' familiars are here. Ultima Weapon, Crystal Sword, Hardedge, the Before Crisis weapons, Aerith's Guard Stick, and a boomerang. A new version of the rod has also been added.

So what's different about this pack? Well, a new hit effect is included (which looks more like a space phenomenon from a Star Trek episode than an effect caused by someone being struck). Several items are replaced with FFVII equivalents, with potions replacing medkits, ether replacing Force crystal, etc.

I have to question the act of replacing the sentry drone with a cluster of materia. It just looks and feels completely wrong, and those bright glowing orbs are a liability in that they'll distract you an awful lot. Same goes for the Ultima Weapon - it's just too darn bright. Same with the hit effect, it's likely to stun you if you're in a dark area or have sensitive retina. This pack ain't for epileptics, that's for sure.

Functionally, though, there's nothing to complain about. All the weapons work fine, as would be expected. The texturing job is for the most part just fine. All you really have to be wary of is the fact that they have altered parameters when compared to base weapons, so some weapons may give an unfair advantage whereas others will act as a severe handicap.

DESCRIPTION   :
These weapon models are the pack which the model of 
the version 2 and a new model were included in.

Then, I tried to add shader.
Shader is added to all the models.

The models added newly are Ultima Weapon, Guard Stick, Crystal Sword, Boomerang and Light Rod.
Re-editing and an improved model are Hardedge, Rekka, Murasame and Rod.

Furthermore, I added some items of Final Fantasy Series.
These are exchanged for items of the default.

But, I am sorry.
Only a single-player works in these item models.
In case of a multi-player, It was given up for a little complicated editing.

Incidentally, these item models can use even JK2.

Ultima Weapon
This is the strongest weapon of Cloud.
Saber load ------ "saber ff7_ultimaweapon"

Hardedge (Ver 2.0)
This is an improvement model.
By original data, I think it to be more correct.
Saber load ------ "saber ff7_hardedge"

Crystal Sword
This sword is Cloud's sword.
Saber load ------ "saber ff7_c_sword"

Guard Stick
The initial weapon of Aetirh.
It becomes the weapon of the staff saber with JA.
Saber load ------ "saber ff7_guardstick"

Boomerang
This is the weapon of Yuffie.
A range is short, and it is a little special weapon.
Saber load ------ "saber ff7_boomerang"

Rod (Ver 2.0)
This is an improvement model, It is the weapon of the staff saber.

Rod - Single style
This is rod of the single saber.
Saber load ------ "saber ff7_rod_single"

Murasame (Ver 2.0)
This is an improvement model.
Saber load ------ "ff7_murasame"

Rekka (Ver 2.0)
A model isn't changed. Only a sab file was adjusted.
Saber load ------ "ff7_rekka"

Light Rod
It is the upper weapon of Rod (Male).
Performance is a little different from rod.

Potion
This is exchanged for "Medpack".
Incidentally, This is a design of potion sold as soft drink before.

Large materia
This is exchanged for "Large Shield Booster".

Small materia
This is exchanged for "Small Shield Booster".

Five materias
These are "Seeker Drone". A model isn't exchanged.
All of these can be used together.
Blue materia ------ "npc spawn materia_s_b"
Green materia ------ "npc spawn materia_s_g"
Red materia ------ "npc spawn materia_s_r"
Yellow materia ------ "npc spawn materia_s_y"
Purple materia ------ "npc spawn materia_s_p"

Ether
This item is exchanged for "Force Crystal".
Therefore, it appears only when Shadow Trooper is beaten.
The force power increases when it obtains this.

BUGS       :
I don't think that there is conspicuous bug. (Probably.)


COMMENT    :
I haven't understood shader completely yet.
These shaders may be able to improve more.
