When I reviewed the first version of SithDagger's Frostmourne sword I had never actually played Warcraft III, so I was reviewing based on researched information. Since then I've played Warcraft III so I know what Forstmourne is. Kind of a boring game... but that's another story :p. Anyway, while there is still a lot he can improve upon, this sword is leaps and bounds better than the first, so definitely give it a look if you're a Warcraft fan.

I'm going to go into as much detail with what I would fix as I can, to better help in improving our author's skills. First I just want to say that Frostmourne was bit... but not that big. That sword must be at least seven feet long! I know Arthas was awesome, but I don't know if he'd even bother lugging that thing around! Secondly for homemade sounds the loop, on, and off sounds were decent, but there are a couple of things I'd like to suggest. First of all, filter out some of the background noise, and trim off the mouse clicks. Also with the looping noise try making a sound that actually loops a little bit better, because at the moment it sounds a little like a broken record. Also it's got a couple spots in it that sound like you were too close to your mic - always good to do a fresh record when you get spots like that. It takes practice.

As for the texturing, it definitely needs some work, but it definitely shows progress as well. I found it to be a little flat in quite a few places, and the use of beveling filters is mor than apparent, but it's definitely a step up. Texturing just takes a lot of practice, so keep working at it and keep getting good advice on techniques to use. The skull actually looks pretty good, so make sure you get Shady to explain how he did parts of it so you can learn from him.

Other than that the sword itself seems to be meshed okay. The polyflow is a little sloppy, but with something as oddly shaped as this that's to be expected. It's pretty true to its form, and other than being immensly large it looks decently playable with no mesh holes like last time. Definitely some kudos for producing a version two that blows away your version one - maybe if we're lucky we'll get a gem of a model for version three ;). Keep practicing!

DESCRIPTION**: This is the Demon Sword FrostMourne from Warcraft3, I made another one before, but V2 is better.
V2 has better textures, a better model, has blade clashing effects, and is SP capable.

From Wikipedai:
"A powerful runeblade, Arthas sought Frostmourne in the hope that its vast power would allow him to rid Lordaeron of the Scourge and save his people. Unbeknownst to him, however, Frostmourne was in fact a cursed blade created by the Lich King. The sword granted Arthas immense power, but it also channeled the Lich King's powers through him, which turned him into the Lich King's puppet and the Scourge's greatest Death Knight.

The pedestal in Northrend that housed Frostmourne was guarded by Ice Revenants who attempted to stop Arthas from gaining the blade - when Arthas taunted them about trying to protect Frostmourne from him, their leader rebuked that they were actually attempting to protect Arthas from the blade itself. On the pedestal, an inscription warned adventurers thusly:

"Whomsoever takes up this blade shall wield power eternal. Just as the blade rends flesh, so must power scar the spirit."

Prominent victims of Frostmourne include Muradin Bronzebeard, Mal'Ganis the Dreadlord, King Terenas Menethil, Uther Lightbringer, Antonidas of Dalaran, Sylvanas Windrunner, and Illidan Stormrage (who is the only character who has been critically wounded by Frostmourne and lived)."

BUGS: None that I know of.
