o_O...I honestly don't know what to say about this model. Part of me is like "HOLY CRAP I LOVE DRILLS.." and then part of me wants to cry and wonder who the hell came up with this freakish concept.
So, apparently this model is based off a series known as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Never heard of it? Don't fear, I haven't either ._.; but from what I've gathered, it scares Averus greatly. Averus loves giant robots, but this one scares him greatly. WHY ON EARTH DOES IT HAVE A GIANT FACE IN THE TORSO WITH SUNGLASSES?! T_T AAGH.....Lord, I give up. Anyway, I looked up comparison shots(after having to skim through a bunch of suggestive shots of some girl âŒ_âŒ) and it actually hits pretty well on the mark. It looks just like that hideously grotesque aberration, and not only that, but it has SPECIES CUSTOMIZATION! Oh yes, that's right. This thing has VERSIONS. You have the option of removing those freakish shades, adding DRILL SPIKES to your body, and adding a strange winged jetpack of sorts(also complete with drills.)
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE MADNESS! Not only do you get a model, but you get practically ALL the fixin's, AND two new weapons: A giant drill(NO WAY?!,) and SHADES! Hang on a sec...
-=Averus repeated facedesks=-
Okay, that feels better. Anyway, this package is pretty grand tribute to this....lovely and outright strange (even for my standards,) machine. It's just sad there was no sounds to complete the ensemble....then again, do I REALLY want sounds? Would my sanity be better preserved without them? I don't know, but this pack afears me. If you actually DIG this series, or if you want a one way ticket to drive Averus crazy, submit bandwidth promptly.

*********************************** Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy *********************************** Name: Gurren Lagann Version: 1.0 Author: Jose Carlos E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org CREDITS ------- Yeah, I'd like to thank Jesus Christ, Jehovah God Almighty and all my family for being so supportive throughout my career. Thank you all, I love ya! Oh, and those dudes over at Raven for making the game, this Lucas guy for no particular reason and myself for being so damned awesome. And, of course, Studio Gainax for making what could easily be the purest concentration of awesomeness I'll ever see. And Yoh Yoshinari for the design of the Gurren Lagann itself. You made something epic, my good man. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ------------------------- Put the .pk3 in GameData/Base. DESCRIPTION ----------- The (titular, if you're watching the dub) giant robot from Gainax's brainchild Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Basically a giant robot with a pair of sunglasses made of a giant robot, a smaller giant robot and eventually another giant robot that flies. In the anime, it tends to fight through a combination of hot blood, sword shades and gigantic drills. Lots of drills. Seriously, it's got drill swords, drill shields, drill darts, drill missiles, drill water screws... You name it, Simon can whip you up a drill version of it. And they're all made of hot blood and willpower. Later on, it gets bigger and starts lobbing around drills the size of planets and, eventually, galaxies. BUGS ---- The alpha shader on the sunglasses flickers between not working at all, working too well (showing through the entire model) and, if you're very lucky, working as it should. I tried everything I could think of to fix it and... well, I got it to flicker a -little- less. And the entire model clips through itself a dozen times in a second. Most egregious with the shades and wing. OTHER STUFF ----------- If you want to spawn it in your game, just type in "npc spawn gurren". The codes for the weapons are "drill" and "shades". Simple, no? Oh yeah, no new sounds for the Gurren Lagann. I'm hopeless when it comes to ripping sounds. Just imagine it's Jaden piloting it or something. LEGAL JIBBER-JABBER ------------------- THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY ACTIVISION, RAVEN, GAINAX, AND/OR LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LLC. ELEMENTS TM & LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LLC AND/OR ITS LICENSORS. GOOD THING THE GUYS AT GAINAX DON'T SEEM TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT, OTHERWISE I'D BE PLENTY SCREWED BY NOW. I JUST HOPE I'LL GET AWAY WITH THIS WITHOUT ANY MEDDLING KIDS AND THEIR STUPID BLOODY DOGS GETTING IN THE WAY AND FOILING MY QUITE FRANKLY BRILLIANT PLANS. ICHIGO KUROSAKI, GALEN MAREK, SASUKE UCHIHA, SEPHIROTH, LINK, MARIO AND SOLID SNAKE HEARTILY ENDORSE THIS PRODUCT AND/OR SERVICE.
