This map was made for the map contest, but since the author unfortunately wasn’t able to meet certain criteria, it was disqualified. But that doesn’t mean it’s a bad map! In fact, I found it enjoyable. It’s supposed to be an area from Halo, and I recognized it as one. With the exception of the doors, it did look Halo-ish. I liked the design of the map, and how the map was done, but a couple of things confused me.

The doors next to the control room thingy, I was only able to open them by swinging/igniting my saber next to them, is there some sort of strange trigger on this? It just confused me, and the other doors did as well. Some of them only open from one side, and this was strange. Yes, it makes for some interesting duels, but it was still confusing. But anyways, I liked how this map was, and the music went well with it. This is a map that is certainly worth a download.

Installation instructions:
Simply drop the pk3 into your gamedata/base folder. Hard wasn't it.

Description:
Duel contest map based off of the room where the Demon first encounters the Parasite on the first sacred ring.

Bot Support: Yes
Secrets: Yes
New sounds: Yes
New textures: Technically, no, I just copied 2 textures, renamed them, and gave them new shaders
Supported Gametypes: Duel, Power Duel
Contains: Flood_room.pk3, Readme


Comments:
This map is a representation of the room, not an actual inch by inch recreation!
I know that the doors suck, I didn't have time to dive into the wonderful world of textures, infact, I hardly had time to dive into shaders.
Odds for Version 2: Extreamly likely

Known Bugs:
Killing the NPC's in the secret area in duel will result in a win for the guy who killed them, as such, anyone caught doing that is a cowerd and deserves
 less respect then an Unggoy (grunt) and should be kicked on site!
There are a few places where the light seems to bleed, but I have no idea as to what's causing it, and it's only really noticeable in the secret area.
On the door out of the secret area, the beep noise goes off at the same time as the door, instead of when you press the button to open the door.
