File Description

Version 1.1 of Quall’s Alternative JA launcher means that you can now run the program with any version of the .net framework and instead of crashing if the JAMP.exe and JASP.exe files aren’t present in the same directory as the launcher; you now receive a message instead.

The readme tells you to place the launcher in your base directory however the .exe file actually needs to go in the GameData folder and not the base folder.

JEDI ACADEMY LAUNCHER v1.1 **

Author: Quall (xbox_beyond@yahoo.com)
Version: 1.1

Description: An alternative game launcher for Jedi Academy. Other features include level select, 4 profile saves/configurations (single and multiplayer), and a user defined level launcher (for map creaters).

Installation: Extract the JAlauncher.exe file into the "/base" directory, where jasp and jamp are located. You will get an error if u don't.

New in v1.1: Works with all .net framework. I had it set to only use the newest version. Also, it displays a message instead of crashing if the hasp and jamp files weren't found, or if it was in the wrong directory. Changed the order of the mini buttons. Profile select is now first (i was always choosing level select on accident).

             WARNING
###################################

YOU NEED THE .NET FRAMEWORK TO RUN THIS LAUNCHER. IF YOU DON"T HAVE IT OR THIS APP DOESN'T RUN, YOU CAN GET IT HERE:

Most newer programs will need it, so if your not going to use this launcher, then i suggest you get it anyways.

Notes: The "map launcher" and the "user defined" map launcher has cheats enabled, but not activated. I made an option for map creaters, like myself, to type the name of the bsp file they want to launch. Makes it easier and quicker to start their level that they are debugging/testing. Don't type .bsp at the end, just the name. It works on any map file, ingame included, but i wanted a way to launch my maps directly when testing. Also, there's no sound (and i probably won't add any yet, as this is the first time i ever made a vb gui. Im not sure how to imbed sound into the program yet).
