File Description

Here we have a couple of rather nice hilts, both looking as if they are original designs. That gets bonus points from me, because I'm not creative enough to make a decent original design. You should see some of my "original" projects... *shiver*. Anyway, they're quite well constructed, making excellent use of a small number of polies, and the skinning is also well done, having an aged, weathered look. The shader doesn't completely undo the texturing, either, which is also nice. Custom sounds have been included which just give a personalized spin on the default saber sounds, and thankfully don't seem to overwrite any current sounds.

I do have one big beef, though, which I'm sure some of you will share. The author has these hilts turned off in multiplayer! Kind of useless for most of you who don't play single-player, huh? Sure, it's easy enough to fix on your own, but it's probably something that should have been fixed/changed before release, unless the author meant it to be that way, which I can't fathom...

Overall though a good pair of hilts. If that notinmp tag was changed I'd definitely recommend them to all of you.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
copy the .pk3 to GameData/base - load a map - type "saber splisten" or "saber evenbocht" in the console - this is how the sabers are supposed to be;
they can also be selected in the new-game-menu with the standard-colors - only works when the language is set to english;

DESCRIPTION: These are supposed to very old sabers made and used by a longforgotten master of the force, not jedi nor sith, who is said to have travelled far beyond the known universe... so much is said, not even the dead know for sure.
Anyway, they're both able to produce two blades that melt into one with double the power - however, it makes the saber harder to handle and easier to loose;
due to their age and heavy usage they have somehow stored parts of their user's skills - therefor they are reduced to two styles each;

BUGS: 	the saberon-sound doesn't play when the sabers are first spawned;
