Mime

Mimes seemed to enjoy a bit of the spotlight back in the 80's, but you just don't see them performing today as much as they used to. Maybe that's because violence against mimes has increased so much since then. I actually read somewhere that attacks against mimes account for over 80% of violent crimes in New York City. How true that is, I don't know. But it sounds accurate to me. This skin is just what you'd expect a mime skin to look like. He's wearing the classic black and white striped shirt and his face is painted white. The only things that really throw this look off are the hat and the holster on his hip.

The team skins are interesting. Instead of just making the sweaters red and black and then blue and black, the author chose instead to color the hat, bottom of the sleeve and paint a diamond in the center of the sweater the appropriate color for each team skin. Now the sounds - yes, sounds - were quite entertaining. Yes, I know mimes are silent. That's why the taunt is simply nothing. But he will whisper an "ow" when he's hit, or maybe grunt a little. I just find it amusing that since a mime is supposed to be silent, when he can't be, he chooses to whisper or quietly scream out in pain. There's no bot support included, so you can't take out your anger and frustration with mimes in general. Though, I'm thinking things will not be pretty if someone joins a server with this skin and just stands there, saying nothing and doing emotes. :/ So much for the saying "Everyone loves a mime!" ;)
