File Description

Well, here's a map pack of a type we don't see often. Maps which have basically zero content by design, and are textured with one blank color.

Okay, I'm not going to rattle on. I think you've all heard of "green-screening". Example: actors can't really fly. So, in a movie about a flying man, they have the actor strike the pose while in a room made of green surfaces, where he films his motions and dialogue during 'flight' scenes. Then, afterwards in post-processing, an editing package is used to render the actor and delete the namesake "green screen", at which point a seperate video file of his 'flight path' is added behind him. The finished product shows a flying man.

And considering I've just completely ruined the illusion of most movie and TV show stunts for you, I think I should move swiftly on, because I haven't the heart to tell you that WWE isn't real.... Oops! :p

Essentially that's what's brought up here. Green screen maps. You film the character performing their actions on the green screen, then in a video editing package you render out the green color, and lay an image in the background - thus presenting a rudimentary form of CGI.

Also included are several different colors of screen, because obviously if something you want to film just happens to be green, that'd be erased along with the green screen. Black, blue, cyan, pink, red, white and yellow are included, for your color screening pleasure.

Good tool for edited movies and screenshots.

DESCRIPTION: Wawel gave me the idea some time ago and since he is a movie maker he requested a "green screen" like room, so I went away and came up with a small room for him to use. As time went on more people were asking about the green screen map and I decided to go ahead and release it to the community... however another problem arose... if you're on a green screen and you're using a model that has the same shade of green then you're going to have a problem... so I decided to make a pack with 8 different colours (Black, Blue, Cyan, Green, Pink, Red, White and Yellow) so people can have more of a variety, it may be more than needed but it honestly didn't take much effort. I hope someone finds the pack useful ^^.
