There is nothing I love more than a well written and executed single player mod. Except of course for a darn good map. Undiscovered Secret could've been one of those amazing SP mods if it had been completed. I'm not saying that there is no ending - I'm sure there probably is. I just didn't play that far into the game. I enjoyed what I did explore. The mod has some combat here and there, but more than anything there are little puzzles that you need to solve to complete your objective. It's a tad predictable, but satisfying because it's not too hard. Now my biggest issue with this mod is the dialogue. Not only is it TERRIBLY written (okay, there were a few funny things here and there, but generally it could've been better), but there isn't any voice acting. So make sure you have your subtitles on before playing. This really ruined it for me. I couldn't lose myself in the story. And the text was too fast, at that. Is it still worth a download? Absolutely. I think you'll enjoy the mod itself. It just would've been nice if they had gone that extra step and gotten some people to record the lines and had someone else go over the dialogue. Great job, anyway, though!

------------------------- Nina: Undiscovered Secret ------------------------- By Larry McBruce Introduction: ------------- "Undiscovered Secret", is the new chapter of Nina's adventures. If you have not yet played the first adventure of Nina, then I suggest you download "Nina_1.5" and play it. You can find it here: - http://www.pcgamemods.com/8192/ - http://jediknight2.filefront.com/file/Nina_Mod_15;34242 Installation: ------------- Unzip “Undiscovered_Secret.zip” into your “C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\Gamedata” folder, then double click on the batch file (“Undiscovered_Secret.Bat”) in the “Gamedata” folder to launch the modification. Do not use the "load mod" button, or the modification won't work correctly. You can create a shortcut on your desktop if you wish. This level only supports English language. Please set your game to English, and MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENABLED “SUBTITLES: IN CINEMATICS” IN THE GAME OPTIONS MENU. SUBTITLES ARE NEEDED FOR THE CUTSCENES. Don't forget to choose your saber style ( fast, medium, strong ) at the beginning of the level. Playing notes: -------------- There are several puzzles in this mod, and "Sense" is REALLY helpful to get through them. All in all, the puzzles are quite easy. You just need a good sense of observation ;) Custom music: ------------- From "Knights of the Old Republic" (http://www.lucasarts.com/products/swkotor) Textures: --------- I borrowed six textures from "Return to Castle Wolfenstein", as well as one from "Soldier of Fortune 2", and one from "jedi outcast".
