For those of you who've seen the OJP Enhanced floating about, this movie , comprised of 6:45, demonstrates the various saber forms present in the OJP. This is, in fact, not a training manual, and is not a replacement for the actual saber manual. This merely demonstrates the saber forms as is, with no application of the philosophies, but more to the actual saber form strengths and weaknesses. The music was quite impressive, and fit quite well with the mood to a degree. Camera work was quite effectively, and focused quite well on the action at hand. Only downside: don't expect too many people. Just a player Kyle and Desann bot, fighting, the Kyle demonstrating the styles.
Definitely worth looking at if you're interested in seeing the OJP saber system first hand.
If you = interested, then you = bandwidth plox.

*********************************** Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy *********************************** TITLE: OJP v1.2 Lightsaber Forms AUTHOR: Tanqexe E-MAIL: email@example.com WEBSITE: http://tanqexe.deviantart.com FILENAME: ojpsaberform-hires.wmv FILESIZE: 64.4 MB DATE RELEASED: June 11, 2008 CREDITS: The OJP team INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: This is a WMV file, so if you have Windows Media Player you can just play it out of the box. Winamp can also play WMv files, as well as a number of other applications. DESCRIPTION: OJP v1.2 features an extensive lightsaber combat system. We've built in several features into the animation and code for the lightsaber styles to reflect the 7 classic saber forms as well as dual/staff. This video shows the lightsaber styles the way they can be employed in combat to capitalize on these features, reflective of the different philosophies behind the saber forms. This video is not intended to explain the mechanics of OJP saber combat; it is instead intended to give players an idea of how to best use different saber styles to their advantage and tailor them to their individual playing styles. It is assumed that you have some understanding of the OJP saber system when watching the video. If you don't, there is a saber manual at the OJP forums. OJP forum: http://lucasforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=542 This is a quick and dirty video I've compiled using WMM because my desktop which has Premiere is out of commission - plus I'm flying overseas and this is a parting gift to the OJP community, so quality and design aren't up to par of what I would've liked to have done. BUGS: N/A COMMENTS: Thanks to everyone on the OJP team for their contributions to a great mod. Special thanks to OJP beta testers and the community in general for playing, as well as the many supporters of the mod for all of your help!
