I imagine for those of you who like to collect every skin and model ever released this will be a very handy little tool, especially after you accumulate so many that you can't remember what they are or you've surpassed the amount of models/skins that will show up in your multiplayer icon menu.
The basic idea of this little script is that it will print out all your models (skins and vehicles included) to a nice little RTF file in your base folder. That way you can refer back to it if necessary, or even print it out for easy access. As I was testing it I discovered I had a lot more skins than I thought I did. Just keep in mind this RTF will also contain all of the Raven models.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JEDI ACADEMY MODIFICATION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Title : Player Model Lister Author : Jawawarrior E-Mail : email@example.com File Name : models.cfg File Size : 132 Bytes Date Released : January 1st, 2005 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DESCRIBTION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This little file i created using the idea of Misanthropic Revan that writes all player models or "skins" that you have at the time of executing this file into a Rich Text Format or word file, so you can easily check which maps you have and what there names are. It also dumps and the names of those models into the commands window so you don't have to switch between the game jedi academy and word to see them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CREDITS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is an idea that spured off of Misanthropic Revan's creation. I edited the configuration file to surve the purpose of listing the player models instead of the maps. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NOTE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some of the models listed will not work because the game does not have the correct files to make it so they would be useable by a Player. Examples: rancor, r2-d2, any vehicles that show up, etc. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HOW TO INSTALL ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just put the models.cfg in your GameData\base folder in your JK JA game directory. Then when you run the game type "/exec models" into your console. And a wordpad-file called models.rtf will be created in your base folder or in the folder of the mod you are currently using. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HOW TO UNINSTALL ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just remove the models.cfg file from your GameData\base folder. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ COMMENTS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I had been looking for a file like this for some timebecause i didn't want to have to keep records of every skin i put in my base and wanted to use and some of my favorite skins did not show up in the character select menu. THis is my first file and i hope that it is helpful to many like Misanthropic Revan's Map Lister did for me. I believe this mod should be in mods/mini mods. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BUGS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are no bugs that i know of and this is a simple file but if any present themselves please tell me. there is one thing. I could not get it to just display the models that you can use so there are some skins that jedi academy uses that i gave examples of before that you can't use. the game will say that they don't have the correct "skeletons to use them" ~~~ Copyright / Permissions ~~~ THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY ACTIVISION, RAVEN, OR LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LLC.
