I guess the point of this skin was for it to have X's all over it, but from what I can tell only the team colors do. The default skin seems to be a reborn new with what looks like dirt all over it. The brushing is very simple, but somehow quite effective. There is one huge problem I have with this skin, though, and I didn't actually notice it until I really began to look at the skin with a critical eye. It uses shadowtrooper textures... and they don't fit on the model! This shouldn't a surprise, seeing as how the shadowtrooper and the reborn new look nothing alike. A lot of JKA models share a base model, but the reborn new is quite unique. The author seems to have just put the textures on as-is, either not realizing that the skinmaps don't match up, or not caring. What I would guess is that first he didn't know, then he saw it and didn't care, because from a distance it still looks cool.

I'm a little more picky with my skins, though. I don't like to see the torso being on the arm, or the arms being on the torso, or whatever else inbetween is on this skin. The bottom line, though, is that it looks alright if you don't look to closely. If you do look closely, it really just looks like things are minorly misaligned, so whether or not this seemingly large skinning miscalculation bothers you is up to your personal taste. If you don't care, give it a download anyway. No harm, right?
