File Description

The author makes it clear that this map started out as a simple test of the polygon tools in GTKRadiant so I'm going to try and judge accordingly.

There is no lighting whatsoever and the levelshot doesn't load due to it being an invalid size :p Oh and there is also a missing texture around the platform itself lol.

As for the map, for dueling, I can see it working, a circle you're stuck on, if you fall of you do fall to your doom....technically odd due to the fact it's space but other maps follow the same oddity, my recent map even did...kinda lol

In the end...it's a first map, no lighting isn't too bad on this due to the lack of anything to cast shadows and it is space. I don't see why some people can't play this map just fine....just don't expect perfection for a first!

Sith Platform 1.0
------------------

Gametype supported: Duel
Map creator: xwing_05
Date created: 10/19/03

Comments
---------
This is a simple duel map consisting of a circular platform
surrounded by pillars. It started mainly as an experiment with
the polygon tool in the new version of radiant. I kind of liked
the result, and I decided to release it. My first map to be released,
in fact. No bot support yet, as I'm just a beginning mapper. I might
release a v2.0 in the future once I figure more things out.

Note to other mappers: This map is an original creation. I did not copy ideas
from any other map out there. I know some maps have similar areas (like Sith-J-Cull's
Universal Training map) but as I said earlier, this was just an experiment
with the polygon tool, and any resemblance to other maps is just coincidental.
