When I first saw this I thought "Go Illini!" This stormtrooper is grey and orange, with hints of red. Despite being a somewhat simple recolor, it does look pretty neat. The colors seem to go together pretty well and the recoloring wasn't done sloppily. I'd like to know what book this is supposed to be from though, because I've never heard of a book with grey and orange stormtroopers.
I checked out the "new" sounds, and it looks to me like the author unnecessarily just dumped the stofficer sounds in the PK3 without altering them. I supposed I could be wrong, because I'm not about to actually listen to them all, but if he didn't alter them there's no reason to include them, since everyone has them with their base JKA. We're also missing the stormtrooper specular shader, so the armor won't have any shine. The specular maps are in there though, so without the shader they're just taking up space.
Overall an interesting idea. However if this is from a non-Star Wars book, as I suspect it is (once again, I could be wrong ;)) probably more than a simple recolor should have been done. But to each his (or her) own.

Installation: Extract files to the Jedi Academy/Gamedata/Base folder. This skin was developed by me, Suncrusher, as a kind of personal goal. I've always wanted to reskin a stormtrooper to my liking so I just went and did it. The stormtrooper was based of of Phaethon's armor in The Golden Age by John C. Wright for those who have read the book.
