Well here is another map by Jenova, this time it’s a small duel map…and the subject of the map is…a TaunTaun Joust! The basic idea of this map, is that each player jumps on a TaunTaun, then runs to the other end, whilst swinging your saber, trying to slice your opponent in half. I feel a bit sorry for the poor TaunTaun though….:(
Now, I’ve seen one of these before on another map, I can’t remember which one, but I do remember it was fun! As far as the look of the map goes, it looks pretty nice, there seems to be a frozen pond type thing at either end, with pond plants in, and frozen water coming half out some pipes above the ponds, which looks cool. There is some cool music here too, that fits well with the theme of the map I think.
Being a duel map, and thus pretty small, there’s not really that many bugs you can find usually. The only thing that bugged me (forgive the pun :P) here, was that the lighting on the cliffs you could see outside the grates at either side of the map, looked a little strange, but I’m not really sure what would be needed to improve that. Besides that, another cool map here!

re-release #5 - Taun-taun jousting arena for jedi academy by Jenova*Rebirth* Re-release number 5 Installation: Place the taunjoust.pk3 into your gamedata/base folder in Jedi academy. Type: Duel Custom texture's:no new music:yes bot support: yes but they will not ride the taun tauns Description : This map was a strange one i decided to make where the duel server must be set up to have matches between 2 oponents to last best of 2 before someone loses. This is because it is a jousting arena, where you ride your tauntaun and joust with the otehr player till someone hits the deck, but you need to kill the taun also as it counts as a duel kill. Thats why its must be best of 2 but it works well enough. Not one of my best maps but it was always fun to play. so I thought I would re-release it. Jenova*Rebirth*
