File Description

I actually had no idea that you could attach models to a tag in modview, so even reading the readme was like downloading a mod itself. Anyway, here is an extremely handy tool for not just modelers but skinners and even people who just want to make cool pictures of their favourite JA models.

The Modview Saber has proved to be an extremely handy tool for me, no longer do I need to go in game to take cool screenshots of my new skin or work while a saber ignited. The model adds a saber blade that you can attach to a hilt in modview, it has three blades, soft, hard and just the core. I tend to just use the core for taking screenshots since I then edit it in Photoshop and add my own glow, the other two come with the glow itself and in a number of different colours.

A must-download for skinners and modelers, be sure to read the readme, it'll answer a whole lot of questions.

Title : The Modview Saber
Author : Tim Eggena / Infinity Blade
E-Mail : infinity_blade@yahoo.com

File Name : modview_saber.zip
File Size : 121 KB
Date Released : 6/29/05

Description : These are my personal saber tools I use for testing
the appearance of models, and making images for them in modview. I showed them
around a little, and there seemed to be some interest for a release. They recently
went through some refinement, and I thought I would share to those who always
wanted to have a neat looking saber inside of Modview, but were never quite
sure about how to make one themselves.

Installation : Extract the files to the base directory you are currently
using for Modview. If you want instructions on how to use these sabers, they will
be in with the saber files - base/models/weapons2/modview_saber/instructions.txt .

Comments : Stop by The Void, if you have the chance... :)
