File Description

Fed up of the old Yoda model that has been knocking around since JK2? Let's face it, the model may be great but there were certain problems that (at this time) make it disappointing.

Marz has created us a new Yoda, with plenty to choose from.

There are 4 different skins included in this, and Ep2, Ep3, Ep5 and Fleeing Yoda. The model is great, only a few clipping problems, but as with the youngling, it is hard to avoid because of the size of the model (remember to add it to your JAplus modelscale server admins!!)

The Ep2/3/5 are all easily explained, they're basically the robes Yoda was wearing in each of those movies, the Fleeing Yoda (Yoda heading to dagobah) includes a backpack, which is a unique idea and very well executed.

There are a few taunts here too, some of them add two quotes together which work quite well. Overall it's currently the best Yoda we have and probably we have for the rest of this game's time.

Yoda fans should be pleased ;)

To get the right size for Yoda, I suggest you add the following to ‘modelscale.cfg’ in your JAplus Folder: "yodavm" 0.75 "yodaflee" 0.75

File Name/File Size	:YodaVM.pk3 (4.54 Mb)

Date Released :10/7/2005

Description: This is a totally new model of Yoda! I went for making an accurate build for this model. Considering the limitations of the JKA skelaton, I think the model works well. The model has been scaled, but yoda is only scaled when spawned as an NPC, or used as a player model in single player. Hopefully someone will add it to the script files for "JK Plus Mod".

***Trouble shoot***

Usually there are only a few errors make that cause problems. Here are the most common...
1) Not using the proper console commands for "Single Player" or "Multiplayer"... cheats are acivated differently for each. Read "Instructions" up above.
2) Having the pk3 placed in the wrong folder.
3) Make sure you have the latest Jedi Knight Academy update, this is very important!
4) Make sure you have removed any older versions of this model.
5) sometimes the model will not show up in the select menu, The Game loads them in reversed alphabetical order, so Yoda should show up in the top. If not you may just have too many models. You can rename the pk.3 to Z_yodavm, and this will put it at the top.
