If you thought you saw the last of the item modding that changes physical appearances from Mandalorian16965, you’d be mistaken. This time he did a bunch of little changes. You know the clothing variants in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords? Well, the author decided to change most of them. There are 12 of them and the author made changes from 2-12.
Here are the different types of appearances you will get from each of the clothing variants. Use the “giveitem” cheat to put them in your inventory.
g_a_clothing02 – Ithorian g_a_clothing03 – Duros g_a_clothing04 – Rodian g_a_clothing05 – Bith g_a_clothing06 – Hutt g_a_clothing07 – Trandoshan g_a_clothing08 – Sullustan g_a_clothing09 – Weequay g_a_clothing10 – Quarren g_a_clothing11 – Toydarian g_a_clothing12 – Devaronian
Each of these modified items will now give you bonuses, except for #9. That variant will just give the Weequay appearance. There are so many bonuses in each of the ten different variants (because one doesn’t have one) that it would be too much to type them all out. I would suggest just try them out and see what you get from each.
One thing to note about these changes is that different NPC’s throughout the game use these clothing variants. For those who are familiar with the game and know what to expect from each appearances may notice that they’re not exactly what you remember them to be. They’ll show up as the appearance of the different alien species you see with this mod when installed. It would take too much time for me to test out and go through the KOTOR Tool to figure out exactly which ones will be switched, especially if some become enemies. Like if someone is wearing the clothing variant #6, they will have a Hutt appearance and if they are an enemy that tries to kill you, there will be some animation issues that will make the fight look very funny looking. In fact I haven’t seen a Hutt die, but I’m betting they don’t have death animations, so it would interesting to see what would happen them. Of course I don’t think the Hutts have walking animations or some sort, so it will just float across the modules. I imagine the Toydarian model would be just like that too, except it will have some sort of walking or should I say flying animations. The Ithorian doesn't have fighting animations and I don't believe the Bith does too. That would have to be checked.
If you’re looking for changes and possibility a few laughs in your personal game, give this mod a try. I will say that the results won’t be boring. ;)
