When Bao-Dur entered your party during the events of Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, we were privileged to finally have a Zabrak to select to your party. Most of the time in the game, he is referred to as an Iridonian. Of course that is what he is too since he’s from the planet of Iridonia. If you read up on Darth Maul on the official site, who was also a Zabrak, you will find out his home planet is Iridonia too, so that would make him an Iridonian also. Well, we’re humans, aren’t we? If you think about it, we’re also Earthlings because we’re from the planet of Earth, right? So in the case of Bao-Dur, he species is Zabrak, and his nationality is Iridonian. I know a lot of people get confused by this and if I had a nickel each time I have explained this to someone, I’d be a very rich man.
With this mod installment, we get something new for our one-armed Zabrak; a new skin. Indiana Revan77 makes his FileFront debut. One of the ideas in this skin has been done before, that is giving Bao-Dur blue eyes. The eye texture is different than the previous version ever released (I check it out myself). There are two transitions with Bao-Dur’s face as he turns to the dark side. The author used the original first transition, but kept the blue eyes. The last one is Bao-Dur’s traditional full turn to the dark side change, so nothing new there.
Bao-Dur has some new clothing colors. His default clothing on the neutral and light side of the Force is blue and when he is on the path to the dark side, it’s red; pretty traditional colors for a character’s alignment to the Force. Not bad for a someone’s first skin. Welcome to the modding world, Indiana Revan77.
