Combat Suit Replacement

One of items most readily available in the Knights of the Old Republic games, is the Combat Suit. This item, as anyone will tell you, pretty much sucks. Canderis plans to change that, with his latest mod submission here on FileFront for the sequel to the 2003 game of the year, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

The author has replaced the model with another armour model which looks far more suited to combat than the original one that Obsidian included in the game. He has created a new skin for said model, which looks to have been very well made. It is obvious that a lot of effort went into the making of this mod.

There is a sort of camouflage texture on the limbs of the armour model, which looks very nice (if I may say so :p) and a more metallic set of materials on the torso. Canderis has obviously put a lot of work into this mod, and it really does show, in the quality of the skin that he has produced with it. He truly has done what he set out to do, and made the combat suit actually look like something you'd wear in battle, not to a sparring session down the local gym! :p

As with all mods including textures, you should take a look at the screenshots below. You know what they say... A picture is worth a thousand words... :P
