People really love the idea of playing with dual weapons. It just seems to either give them an extra sense of power, or it just looks plain cool. To me it was cool because I never had the chance to play a video game where that was possible while growing up. Single weapon use was all you got it seemed like (or I just never ran across it until 2003 when Knights of the Old Republic was released.
So what about the idea of using weapons that are designed as two-handed weapons as a one-handed weapon? How about using two of those at the same time, like using two double-bladed lightsabers at the same time, one in each hand? If that sounds cool, read on.
Gavroche brings us the option of using two-handed weapons as a one-handed weapon while making so you can use two two-handed weapons at the same time. Sound familiar, like you’ve seen this mod on here before? It’s very possible since this very author has done it before. So what’s new about this mod you wonder? Well, the TSL Patcher now will install this mod for you instead you having to worry about doing all that pesky .2da editing in the KOTOR Tool, very handy for those who haven’t learned to mod yet. Even more good news is that this mod has files ready to be installed for both Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. One download gives you two mods; one for each game. So what are you waiting for? Enjoy! :D

If you don't do that, you'll have to uninstall/reinstall all of your former mods that were using a baseitems.2da... There shouldn't be any bugs... Well, that's a matter of point of view: Every NPC that is wielding ONE double-handed weapon (one rifle, one saberstaff...) will wield it as if it was a single-handed weapon (the saberstaff will be wielded vertically, rifles will be wielded with one hand, etc...).
