It’s update time. When a really talented modder makes an update, there is always reason to get excited to see what great mod has gotten some new improvements. When Stoffe gave me her female Twi’lek head option to upload last August 1, for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, it became a very popular mod (well over 2000 downloads at the time of review).
Now the author has graced us with her updated version of her female Twi’lek version of the Exile Jedi. As many may have noticed is that the author based her head option off of the Twin Suns model and skin, who Atton has a run in the Cantina on Nar Shaddaa. Stoffe made some minor tweaks to her mod to give it more of its own look so it’s not too close to looking like the Twin Suns.
This mod if you’re not familiar with it provides also a custom Jedi robe and a new dancer outfit skin if you dance for Vogga the Hutt on Nar Shaddaa. It also does not come with dark side transitions because the author does not like playing on the dark side. That shouldn’t stop you from wanting to become a Dark Lord, you still can. You just won’t have physical changes to your appearance. This mod also uses the TSL Patcher (made by Stoffe) for easy installation and to patch up some .2da files. Enjoy the updated head option! :D
Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.
Female Twi'lek Exile Appearance (v1.5) (for SWKotOR2:The Sith Lords) This will install a new selectable player appearance for the Exile, a female Twi'lek, along with custom outfit and robe textures for her. See the included screenshots. Version 1.5 makes further slight adjustments to both the textures and models to make her look more unique compared to other twi'leks in the game. Since I initially made this just for my own use but release it due to it being requested, there are a few things worth noting: This appearance does not have any darkside transitions since I always play as a lightsider. No twi'lek mummy for you. Also it does not use the standard model for underwear and the dancer's outfit since I think those look silly. In v1.1 I have added a modified Dancer Outfit appearance though since it has been requested a number of times. :) Important! If you have other mods installed that have modified any of the files heads.2da, appearance.2da, portraits.2da, animations.2da, itemcreate.2da and itemcreatemira.2da, make sure those files are located directly in your Override folder, and not in any subfolders. This installer will add a new line to those files. When asked, select the folder where your game is installed. This is the folder that contains the Override folder and the swkotor2.exe. Do not select the Override folder itself. If, for some reason, you get errors during installation, this installer has made unaltered backup copies of the files it has modified in the folder named backup located in the same folder as this installer. Copy those files to your override folder to undo any changes the installer has done. After installation there should be a file called installog.rtf in the same folder as this installer. This contains a copy of the installer progress log and can be opened with WordPad. Check this file to see which files have been installed. To uninstall the mod, delete those files it says it has copied to your Override folder. Click the Install Mod button below to begin installation.
