HK-47's Reskin

HK-47 in my opinion the greatest droid ever created for the Star Wars Universe. It’s really a shame he wasn’t working with R2-D2 in the Star Wars movies that George Lucas created because he would have provided some great comic relief and extra blaster help Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. I could just imagine Han and Luke capturing an Imperial and HK-47 asking, “Query: Shall I blast him now master?” One can only dream, right?

Our friendly neighborhood assassin droid has been re-skinned by Darth Xander for the game Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. It’s really a HK-50 skin manipulated to a reddish tone. This means the scratches that were on the plating of HK-47 are gone so he looks smoothed out. I believe the scratches he had in TSL were a symbol of all the battles he’s been through and a partial reason why he was found deactivated in one of the Ebon Hawk’s cargo holds.

There’s also a custom portrait for HK-47 to match the current skin. I do commend the fact that the author stayed with the reddish look since HK-47 will brag about it if you talk to him enough. When installing the skin in the override folder it will instantly change his look, so no worries about starting from a saved game before recruiting him into your party. Enjoy the new skin for the assassin droid! :D
