One of the types of files I really get excited about is new lightsaber hilts. Anything to sway away from the really awful BioWare style hilts to hilts that have character, more detail, and overall make the lightsaber look better is just plain awesome to me. Each lightsaber should have its own unique look as it was intended by George Lucas when creating Star Wars.
Kristy Kistic brings us a lightsaber hilt mod that is designed for both Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Yes, both games have different codes for their models and you can’t use one model in one game and not the other without converting them over with MDLops. Kristy has this all figured out with her installation instructions, so make sure you read the carefully before installing because if you don’t, you could screw up and you’ll regret being impatient.
This mod will give you 5 new lightsabers (four single blades and one double-bladed). Two of the single bladed hilts use a blue blade, and the other two use a purple blade. The double-bladed one also uses purple. Each of the blade colors is slightly different from the other that is designed by the author herself.
There is a blaster that is included in this mod that is really huge. Yes, it’s not with the mod theme, but it’s cool looking nevertheless. You will need to use the cheat console to get these new hilts and instructions how to get them are in the readme file. The TSL Patcher will install this hilt mod. Again, make sure you read the instructions Kristy wrote and remember that she didn’t write them for her health. ;) Enjoy the new hilts! :D
Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

Mod: Kristy's Saber Pack Version: 1.0 Date: 08-03-2006 Author: Kristy Kistic Game: Kotor 1 or TSL Last Build: 01-23-2007 Version 1.0 This is installable for either K1 or K2 TSL. The model files and the upcrystals.2da file are different for each game though so you MUST copy all the files from the relevant K1 or K2 folder to the tslpatchdata folder for this to install properly! Because of the large number of saber mods out there, if you have installed ANY of them then I highly recommend checking your override for the following files. You can do this manually or use the program provided. w_dblsbr_058.mdl w_dblsbr_058.mdx w_dsrptrfl_054.mdl w_dsrptrfl_054.mdx w_lghtsbr_054.mdl w_lghtsbr_054.mdx w_lghtsbr_055.mdl w_lghtsbr_055.mdx w_lghtsbr_056.mdl w_lghtsbr_056.mdx w_lghtsbr_057.mdl w_lghtsbr_057.mdx g_w_sbrcrstl056.uti g_w_sbrcrstl055.uti g_w_sbrcrstl054.uti g_w_sbrcrstl057.uti g_w_sbrcrstl058.uti iw_dblsbr_058.tga iw_dsrptrfl_054.tga iw_lghtsbr_054.tga iw_lghtsbr_055.tga iw_lghtsbr_056.tga iw_lghtsbr_057.tga iw_sbrcrstl_054.tga iw_sbrcrstl_055.tga iw_sbrcrstl_056.tga iw_sbrcrstl_057.tga iw_sbrcrstl_058.tga If any of the above files are present in your override then installing this mod will most likely cause an extreme mess. These were not implemented in game. You will have to use the console: giveitem kksaber01 giveitem kksaber02 giveitem kksaber03 giveitem kksaber04 giveitem kksaber05 giveitem kkgun01 Saber Bonuses: Attack +5 Blaster Bolt Deflection +10 Strength +1 Single sabers base 7-21 Double saber base 7-25 Disruptor Bonuses: Attack +20 Damage Bonus Energy: 9-29 Uninstall: Use the provided program if you can. You will have to restore the upcrystals.2da manually, though. (Use the backup generated during installation.) Credits: A big thanks to T7nowhere for his saber tutorial. :) Hope you enjoy :) Kristy
