The role of the Mandalorians in general were different in the first Knights of the Old Republic versus the second Knights of the Old Republic game. During the first game it seemed like you were fighting them all the time while in the second game you were allies with them. If they ever do a third Knights of the Old Republic game, I’m betting you will be allies with them again based on what happened in the second game and what you learned of them. I could tell you more, but just in case I don’t want to spoil anyone. :p
One of the things you will notice in both Knights of the Old Republic games is commoners walking around on the different planets just minding their own business for the most part. Now what if most of the commoners on the planets you get to visit in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords were Mandalorians?
Ulmont is back with a mod that changes many of the commoners on the different planets in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords to Mandalorians. In this game, Obsidian made it so many UTC files were the same tag name, but just located on different modules which can cause corruption if one of them is changed and put into the override folder. The author just changed the traditional UTI files the commoners would wear and that would be the different clothing items. He did leave the default one alone, which many party members will be wearing when they first enter your party.
This change to the clothing UTI files would include the g_a_clothes07 file. This particular clothing item is worn by default by both the Handmaiden and the Disciple when they enter your party. That would mean they should look like Mandalorians when you get them. This would also mean Mical will like Mandalorian even if you’re just a male character and never get him on Dantooine. As for the Handmaidens on Telos, they will look Mandalorian too. If you want to avoid that, just do not install that particular file when installing this mod.
There are notes about after installation to make full use of this mod mention in the readme file. Make sure you know what it is just in case you install and it isn’t working for you. There is something you need to know about where to start in your game so you won’t get confused. Enjoy the mod! :D
Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.
