Portrait mods, we don't get a whole lot lot of those. Well today we do, with a series of party member member and PC ones by Penguin Unit.
I'd have to say I like them quite a bit. The LS/netural ones show the character with shades of blues and greens in the background and overlapping their faces slightly, while the DS ones use lots of black,s oranges, yellows and reds while also heavily shading the character's head. Very dark-sided.
I don't think the pic the mod has does all the DS portraits full justice since there are only 3, but you have a fairly clear idea of what the rest of them will look like based on it. Well, enjoy!

Title: New Light and Dark Portraits Author: Penguin Unit Date Created: I really have no idea, I made these a long, long time ago, on a computer far, far away...Alright, alright, enough of the humor. File Size: 4.14 Megabytes (Approximately) Description: Essentially, all this mod really does is modify every portrait in the game, including one or two that were not actually selectable heads, from what I could tell, unless you had a mod to enable them. What this does is just basically play with some gradients from GIMP. The result is the Light Side/neutral portraits with a lighter kind of appearance, which has a soft-ish look, and the Dark Side portraits, which have taken on an eerie, flaming, more evil look. Please also remember that this file will conflict with any portraits already in your Override folder. You'll have to pick and choose, such as keeping a character replacement's portrait and adding everything else except for the conflicting one(s). Installation instructions: Browse to your C:/Program Files/Lucasarts/KotOR 2/Override folder, and dump all the .tga files in there. Start up your game, and they should appear. If you don't find an override folder, make one. Comments: This mod, though quite easy to make, took about an hour and a half or so, because I had to extract every single portrait one-by-one, and then edit them all, which took longer than the extracting did. The result is something I'm pleased with, and fits the alignments accordingly. One last thing. Due to the recent uproar because of my comments and casual users without the capacity to realize my opinion can change (you know who you are, not you, Shem), I am going to refrain from comment posting, unless I really, really feel like it. It seems everything I say offends everybody...
