Darth Moeller has sent us a new head model for us to use. It’s based on the Caucasian Male head number five in the original KOTOR game. Now this head model is available for KOTOR II: TSL. The change that is done on the skins that is different from the original version you see in K1 is the eye colors. The author made them baby blue. There are dark side transitions to this mod.
Again, the skin tons have not been changed from the original version, but the eye colors have been. Personally, I like the baby blue color in the eyes and sometimes just minor tweaking makes all the difference the appeal of a mod changed from the original version. This mod is an example of that.
The first two dark side transitions still stay true to the baby blue eye color. The final two have a fire color in the eyes. It sort of sends a message to opponents that you don’t want to mess with me if you catch my drift.
The author also made some brand new cool looking icons for each transition your PC is in. I must say, those were very well done. I’m definitely impressed with the work done in that area.
For those who are wondering about porting issues, these files that are originally in KOTOR, are also in TSL, so it’s perfectly legal.
This mod uses the appearance.2da file in it, but never fear. Darth Moeller put the TSL Patcher in the mod for installing it so that it will automatically update your file your appearance.2da file or give you one if you don’t use one currently. This is very useful for those who have no modding skills, especially if they have no skills in editing .2da files. Be sure to read the readme for instructions. And lastly, enjoy the new head option for TSL. :D
