This mod is the very first mod Darth Shan has ever put out and I have to say it is really interesting. There are a few people out there including myself on some cases that wonder about things in the games that were not answered. What I mean is there are lots of things in the Kotor games that have gone unanswered like where Revan went after the first Kotor game, who was the actual owner of the Ebon Hawk, and other stuff like that. What this mod does is give an alternate explaination of who Darth Nihilus was and to say the least I was really intrigued by what Darth Shan came up with. What Darth Shan says happened was (and hopefully I get this right) the exile basically had a very bad build up of DarkSide energy in him/her and out of that viod the DarkSide energy formed into what we know as Darth Nihilus.
This mod goes on that basis that Darth Nihilus was the exile's DarkSide in lamest terms. So generally this will improve the story line to make it fit in a little better. My personal opinion on this mod and other mods like this one is that they are something that is really needed to make this great but wounded game even better. I really do commend you on this mod Darth Shan, it really looks great and I am sure that everybody will truely love it. See the additional Readme "References and Spoilers" for further details. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Extract 852end.dlg to your Override folder. If you do not have one, you will need to make one. The file adds a new string of dialogue options for Visas and the Player PC, after Darth Nihilus has been defeated. So save your game before you approach Nihilus and go through your options. You start the new dialogue string by choosing the line confronting Visas she was not telling you the truth. With a little luck you will still get Nihilus' Mask, as well as some light or darkside points. Enjoy. COMMENTS: This is my very first mod whatsoever. I have been tinkering with the idea for this mod for quite some time now. Researching Streamvoices and Dialogue-Files as well as editing/testing the dialogue took me about two weeks. This has been a lot of fun - I have always been thinking what great potential Obsidian wasted on this still very good game. I tried to put together some plotlines to enhance the really disappointing showdown with Nihilus a little bit. I tried to enliven the romance with Visas and to use Streamvoiced dialogue lines from the original game whenever possible (incl. cut and non-used lines, like 852852sacri).
