JCarter426 returns to fix the issues with the original Personal Items mod he released, and in doing so has shown the kind of durable nitpicking that I for one consider a hallmark of a great modder - or great modder-to-be, at the least. :) Previously a lot of the items were placed in such a way that they would cause errors throughout the game, but the author seems to have successfully fixed these problems.
NB: If you download and use this mod, please leave the author some constructive criticism, as the download-counter isn't very informative.

INSTALLATION ____________________ Step 1: Extract the contents and open the CustomItems folder. Step 2: Move all the enclosed files to your Override folder (if you do not have an Override folder, make one). Step 3: Open the PlacedItems folder. Now, there might be some compatibility issues, if you have any other mods installed that affect the various NPCs and placeables used in this mod. If so, then hit "cancel". While the items will not appear ingame, you can still use the giveitem cheat to add them to your inventory. Step 5: For best results, start a new game, or load a saved game from before Citadel Station. However, you will still be able to use the giveitem cheat to add any of these items to your inventory at any time. To uninstall: Simply remove all the items from your Override folder. Description ____________________ This mod is basically a test, as I am new to modding for KOTOR. I am currently working on a comic adaptation of the games, and I'm hoping to take advantage of the ability to modify the game. For example, the Jedi General Armor and Jedi Exile's Armor are intended for use in the comics. So I began practicing with KOTOR Tool to see what I could do, and wound up with an assortment of items, which I am now sharing with you. The last version had a few problems, and I *think* I've fixed them all in this version. ____________________ 3. What's Included ____________________ *Get a lightsaber and all the HK parts on Telos *All the pazaak cards you want *A lightsaber crystal of every color *Personal items for Atton, Bao-dur, Handmaiden, Mira, and the Exile *A new set of non-Force restricting armor *Three new implants ____________________ LIGHTSABER PARTS *In the last version, there was a problem reguarding the lightsaber parts. Until I can fix it, I've placed a fully functional lightsaber on Lopak Slusk's corpse. He's an Exchange boss, and the Exchange has put a bounty on Jedi, so I figured that he might have a lightsaber as a trophy, like the Mandalorian Sherruk in KOTOR 1. Once I am able to fix the problem, I will change it so that you get all the lightsaber parts on Citadel Station, as originally planned. *Dendis Dobo (one of the Duros merchants in Entertainment Module 081) now has in stock a crystal of every color. *(A tip: if you get Samhan arrested by the TSF, Dendis will give you a discount, so I suggest you complete the Black Market side quest before purchasing any items from Dendis.) ____________________ HK-47 PARTS AND ITEMS *Vocabulator found on the HK-50 on Peragus, and the other three parts, and HK’s assortment of personal items, can be found on one of the HK-50s in the Telos polar regions.=. So you should have all four parts to rebuild HK by the time you get the Ebon Hawk back, plus all his personal items. ____________________ PAZAAK CARDS *Dendis Dobo will now sell more useful pazaak cards, as opposed to ones that you already own. (Again, it is suggested that you complete the Black Market side quest before purchasing any items from Dendis.) ____________________ BAO-DUR'S TECH BELT (a_belt_baodur) *+2 Dexterity, +2 Strength, +3 Awareness, +6 Computer Use, +4 Demolitions, +6 Repair, +4 Security, +3 Treat Injury, Class Restriction: Tech Specialist. *Found on the corpse of the Twi’lek droid master. Little known fact: her class is tech specialist, which is why she has the belt. *Since Bao-dur is the only Tech Specialist in the game, only he can equip the belt, unless you modify your starting class (which is not recommended, so basically only Bao-dur can equip it). ____________________ MANDALORIAN STEALTH UNIT (a_belt_mand) *+4 Dexterity, Defense Bonus +1, +4 Stealth, Class Restriction: Scout *Sold by Kex. *This is meant to be one of Mira’s personal items, since she’s a Mandalorian, and also a Scout. However, if Mira is not in your party, then it can be equipped by Hanharr, who is also a Scout.
