Ever since the release of The Phantom Menace, many Star Wars fans have been fascinated with Darth Maul. So what is it? Gotta be the tattoos, don’t ya think? Maybe his double-bladed lightsaber, it was the only one we saw in all six Star Wars movies. Whatever it is, anytime people found an excuse to put some sort of Darth Maul element in a mod, it’s been jumped on.
As many of you have noticed, Bao-Dur is the same species as Darth Maul. They’re both Zabraks from the planet Iridonia, thus they have horns on their heads. Puck Udroc has brought us his personal version of a Darth Maul element on Bao-Dur for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Some of you have experienced how to influence Bao-Dur enough while on the dark side of the Force to becoming a Dark Jedi Guardian and see Bao-Dur’s dark side transitions. What if Bao-Dur’s final transition to the dark side made him look like Darth Maul? That is what the author did with this mod. So if you want Bao-Dur to look like Maul, just convert him. He will still be missing his left arm and can’t wear Jedi style robes, but you can give him a double-bladed lightsaber to fill the void. Maybe some black armor to help fill the void. Whatever you choose, have fun with it. :D
