Vacation time is over and real life is back for me. That means me doing file reviews on a regular basis again. :p Well, time to get my feet wet I suppose. :) We’ll start off with a new mod for the game, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
I’ve said it many times before that people tend to like having new areas to check out. If you are one of those people, this mod will fit in nicely. Istorian brings us a new cantina to check out on Nar Shaddaa. If you look at the screenshots, you will think it’s the cantina you’re used to seeing. That’s true since it’s the same module being reused, but new NPC’s will be in it. Inside there is a new Jedi Master who looks like Master Kavar. I personally would have used another head for the Jedi, but that’s just my opinion as some of you will probably think it’s cool.
I also saw the author use the Azkul head too. Same reason as for using the Kavar head as I would have used a different version; my reasoning is because the heads are too recognizable and distinguished. Still, rule of thumb is do mods the way you want them and if someone doesn’t like it, they can either learn to mod and make personal changes or not use it. It’s a pretty simple way of looking at it if you agree with my reasons to why the author shouldn’t have used those heads.
There are many new side quests that come with the new area to explore. Make sure you check out the readme for more information about this mod and suggestions on party members that should be used for this add on. :D
The TSL Patcher will install this mod. If you want to uninstall it and forgot to backup the module files it replaces, the author provided the original ones in case you were careless about it as many of you will; so you’re covered. :p Enjoy! :D

New Cantina Mod ================================================ (Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords) If you find any problems contact me at Holowan Laboratories, my name is Istorian. I. What is this mod? _________________________ This mod will add a new area, a cantina, with many characters to interact with, new quests, 7 new items resembling the 7 forms of lightsaber combat and many more things. II. How do I play this mod? ___________________________ After installation (explained below), load a game before going to Nar Shaddaa, and in the Refugee Landing Pad, just outside the door that leads to the Entertainment Promenade, you will find Ulkar. Speak to him, and he will lead you to the new cantina. If in all your saved games you've been on Nar Shaddaa, just use the cheat "warp cantina" and you will be in the cantina in a second. III. Installation _________________ To install this mod, just run the Mod Installer.exe . The installation will begin automatically. When the installation is done, the installog will have a message that says that the installation has a warning. IGNORE THIS. The game should play normal. IV. Uninstallation __________________ To uninstall this mod just remove from your modules folder this file: cantina.mod and in the same folder replace: 301NAR_s.rim and 301NAR.rim with the ones that can be found in the uninstallation folder. V. Mod Compatibility ____________________ This mod shouldn be compatible with any other mod, as long as you don't have in your modules folder any mod named cantina, and in your override any of these items: a_band_66.uti a_belt_66.uti e_imp66.uti a_helmet_66.uti a_gloves_66.uti a_robe_66.uti g_w_lghtsbr66.uti VI.
