When playing the game, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, we were introduced to an extremely old lady named Kreia. My thoughts when I first saw her speak to my character when I was first playing the game back in December of 2004 was, “This is one really old Jedi.” As I progressed through the game, I really learned more about this old Force User.
Well, what if you could play the game with a much younger looking Kreia? If you have a desire to do so, then Mandalorian16965 has a great mod for ya. He has done a wonderful job in making Kreia look like she’s lost some years of aging. Of course that only applies when she’s in your party. When she leaves you, she won’t. But for those who haven’t played through the game, I’ll just leave at that because of spoilers. Hopefully others who have played it will catch on enough to understand what I meant.
I really think the author is really getting good at this skinning thing. At least he shows good promise with this particular skin. I really hope we see more in the future. This type of mod has been done before awhile back. I did compare both works and I like this one by Mandalorian16965 better. The author even went as far as to smooth out the age of Kreia’s hands unlike the previous attempt two years ago which is a plus in my opinion. Again, great job, keep up the good work.
Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

Kreia Young Reskin (version 1.0) (for SWKotOR2:The Sith Lords. Kriea Younger Reskin for SWKotOR2 TSL ---------------------------------------- TABLE OF CONTENTS: 1. What is this? 2. What is new? 3. What is this? ---------------- This is a reskin for the Party member Kreia. Some of the changes have been simple others have been very difficult to get at. 2. What is new? ---------------- - I have removed most of the wrinkles to give a more young healthy look that people have today. - I have given her a small suntan. You may not notice it but it does make a lot of difference if you have seen it without. - I have changed her hair colour to a Grey/Blonde colour. She will still have the same hair just a slightly different colour to give a younger apperance. She looks like she is aging slightly but she does not mess with hair dye that some people do today! - I have softened the skin around the lower face area to give a more feel as if she is wearing some foundation that most women wear. - I have changed her clothes slightly to appear less creased. This may not seem like a big change but it does appear less of a "burlap sack" - I have changed the portrait of Kreia to match her new look. I'm not the best at reskining so please don't blame me if it is not perfectly accurate. 3. What did you not change? ----------------------- - I have not changed the "Darth Traya" texture as it seems more "evil" to have her a wrinkley Sith lord! - I have not changed the "Kreia Dark" texture as that model is not used in game so i see no need to use it - i have not changed the "Gimped Kreia" texture for the same reasons that i have not changed the "Darth Traya" Texture. - I have not changed the model in any way because you do not have any .mdl or .mdx files to put into your Override folder. Changing the model would result in having to do a new texture so i left it as it is. 4. How do I install it? ----------------------- To install you will need WinRar. You can get it at: www.rarlab.com Unpack all the files and extract the following files to: LocalDisk (C:)>Program Files>Lucasarts>SWKotOR2>Override "P_KreiaA" "P_KreiaH" "PO_PKreia" Of course it won't hurt to put the screens and read me in the Override folder but it won't do any good either! Some Novice users in WinRar may want to use the Wizard function. It will Put WinRar in a similar Style to Window's Explorer. You can then copy the files to LocalDisk (C:)>Program Files>Lucasarts>SWKotOR2>Override 5. How do I use it? ------------------- This is a reskin you can't USE it! From the bed in the mourge Kreia will have her new Younger look! 6. How do I uninstall it? ------------------------- To uninstall simply remove the following files from the Override folder: "P_KreiaA" "P_KreiaH" "PO_PKreia" 7. Troubleshooting ------------------ Q: Kreia appears see-through! A: You have the brightness on your screen to high. You van edit that from the options menu or from your screen directly. If you edit the screen options enough it will appear a lot better! Q: The Skin is not working! A: There are everal reasons for this - You may not have installed the files correctly, see section 4 for info - You may be looking at the wrong texture. On the Ebon Hawk The placable Kreia Corpse should not have the reskin as it has a different apperance! - You may have another mod confilcting with this one! The shock the horror! If you want either skin to work properley it is best to uninstall one. See Section 5 for Uninstallation instructions. 8.
