One of the great things about the sequel to 2003’s game of the year, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is that Obsidian was able to port most of BioWare’s work over to the game, even though most of it wasn’t used. Unfortunately Obsidian elected not to port over some of the party members from the first one. The reason for this is unknown to us. However, most of the characters you met in the first game are available through modding.
Ferc Kast who just released the Knights of the Old Republic version of this mod has also made a Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords version as well to play with. If you didn’t read the last review, this mod uses a light side version of the dark side Twi’lek to start off as. As you progress to the dark side if you elect to do so, she slowly starts to go to her original look. This mod also like the other game’s version has custom portraits to go along with it.
Also like the last version of this mod, the TSL Patcher is used to make installation better and easier for you to do. If you’re not familiar with the TSL Patcher, just click on the TSLPatcher.exe file. It will prompt you to select a folder and this is when you select the folder in which you installed your game at. Once you select the correct folder, the Patcher will do the rest for you in seconds. Then start a new game and enjoy! :D
