iLike_Speed makes his FileFront debut with a mod that alters the way you progress in your Force Powers in the original Knights of the Old Republic game. I must say this idea is an excellent idea for a mod I foresee to be a popular mod and will probably be requested for TSL by some people.

When I looked at the screenshots, I was blown away at the site of it because of what I was seeing. You know how when you pick out some Force Powers, you have to be at a certain level in your progression to be able to select it? Well, that feature has been taken away. You also can go right to the most powerful of the Force Powers without any of the prerequisite Force Powers. Let’s examine the Force Push. You can get that at any level, but you have to wait till Level 9 to get the Force Whirlwind Power and Level 15 to get the Force Wave Power. Well, once you become a Jedi, no matter what level you are at, you can go strait to the Force Wave without selecting the Force Push or the Force Whirlwind Powers.

The only hang up with this mod is that it uses the spells.2da file and the author did not use the TSL Patcher. If you have no skills in editing this file, and you are using one in your override folder, it will mess something. So be cautious when installing it. Enjoy the mod everybody! :D

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I Version

Description: Basically, what this MOD does is that when the force 
powers become available any of them may be selected for use. When 
the path of a jedi begins the force powers obtainable are weak.  
With this MOD, instead of getting the feeble powers, the strongest 
are offered right away.  There are no prerequisites or level
restraints for any of the powers.

Installation:

Copy the spells.2da MOD and paste it into the OVERRIDE folder.  It
can be found in the installation folder "Knights of the Old Republic"
which will normally be located under:
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Knights of the Old Republic.

Bugs:

Once all of the best powers have been selected, the only ones left to
get are the weak ones so you end up wasting force points on worthless
stuff.  The only way I would say to make it better is to make more
force powers.

Uninstall: Delete the installed files from the KoToR\Override 
folder.

**********************************************************************
