Description

For you Bastila fans out there, you’re finally in for a treat. Have you gotten tired of her default clothing? Do you need something to spice up Bastila’s looks? If so, ChAiNz.2da is your man. He has brought us a masterpiece of a mod. This one gives new robes for Bastila. Also in this mod, Bastila can become a blonde. That is optional if you want it. Just put the blonde files in if you want her hair color to change.

The appeal about this mod is the textures. These are masterfully done, thanks to Svosh’s help. Bastila now looks sexy. Just look at the screenshots to see for yourself. This mod also comes with a Jedi version and a Sith version to please those light and dark siders out there. These robes will also give you the protection you would get from wearing the Jedi or Sith Master robes. So this mod isn’t just for looks after all. ;) Plus, they’re upgradeable. :p

Another thing good about this mod is Bastila will wear the Sith version of the robes when you confront her on top of the Rakatan Temple. A major plus in my option if these robes have grabbed your attention. Overall, the biggest appeal about the mod is new clothing.

Make sure you read the readme. ChAiNz likes to write long ones, but it is worth the read to make sure you’re following instructions carefully about item placement since this mod is not a small thing that has been done. All good things never came easy. ;)

And lastly, have fun with this mod.

**svösh's original mod**
These are skins I made for everyone’s favourite heroine, I wasn’t thrilled with the salmon, almost skin tone. So I made these both as unique items they are clothing variation 2 and 3 she will be wearing the good clothes when you meet up in the hideout on Taris and when you encounter her on the unknown planet she will battle you in the evil clothes. I have increased the ac of both of these. So they are as protective as Jedi master robes. 
There are custom blonde icons to go with her if you don’t want blonde hair then don’t drop the icons or the head file in to the override folder


**ChAiNz**
Ummmm...even Jedi's like to look sexy sometimes don't they?? No really, I kept seeing requests for Leia's Slave Girl Outfit (no I'm not skinning one....yet...) so I came up with this alternate design. Bastila's default clothing was the closest match I've seen, but svösh's skin was WAY much better looking. I opted to ask permission to use his version instead mostly out of the "eyecandy" factor. I just made some extra "skin" for the skin and a few shiny things... ;)

The Revelation Robes are suited for a battle hardened Bastila. They are upgradeable with some extra buffs so you can keep her in these duds pretty much throughout the whole game.

**NOTE- these robes are intended for Bastila ONLY. If placed on any other character, the stats will remain but your character will be wearing the games default clothing model for that particular class. ie- Carth can wear them...but he won't be in drag  ;)

This garment was given to Bastila as a gift from the Jedi Enclave out of appreciation for her role in the mission to capture Revan. A rare cortosis weave accents the robes, giving it a metallic glint.

Installation: 
Just extract all files into your Kotor override directory. (except .txt's and .jpg's)

** IMPORTANT - this mod uses an appearance.2da file. If you are already using a mod that uses this file some editing will be required (very simple, so no whining). If not, just drop that puppy in your Kotor Override directory and you're set!

To edit, refer to the "Instructions 2da.jpg"... pics are easy to follow ;)

For non-pic ppl... 
	1) Open your "appearance.2da", 
	2) goto line 4 "Party_NPC_Bastila". 
	3) Scrollover till you see the column named "envmap". 
	4) Change the "Default" setting to "CM_Baremetal". 
	5) Save File into your override directory. (appearance.2da)

Usage:

1- with cheats enabled, type "~" (without quotes) and enter:


giveitem g_a_clothes02  (original svösh teal)
giveitem g_a_clothes03  (original svösh red)

giveitem bast_rev_t     (re-skin ChAiNZ teal)
giveitem bast_rev_r     (re-skin ChAiNz red)

2- Press <ENTER>

** For the Anti-Console,
Bastila will be wearing the original svösh teal when you meet up in the hideout on Taris. The Revelation Robes (Teal) will be in the Party Inventory. When you encounter her on the unknown planet, she will battle you in the original svösh red.

Out of respect for svösh, the original author, I did not change this. If you wish to battle "evil" Bastila 'wearing' the Revelation Robes...MORE editing will be required...


Using Roboius'GFF Editor (see special thanks).

-Open the included "unk44_evilbast.utc" file
-Click the "+" next to the "-1" entry to open your tree
-Scroll down and click the "+" next to Eqip_ItemList"
-Click the "+" next to line 3
-Select (highlight) the "[CResRef] = g_a_clothes03" line
-To your right in the white box, you'll see the value "g_a_clothes03"
-Change this value to "bast_rev_r"
-Select (highlight) any other line so the changed value takes affect.
-Save your file (don't change the filename)  unk44_evilbast.utc
-Drop the file into your override directory


Using Fred Tetra's Kotor Tool (see special thanks)
-Open the included "unk44_evilbast.utc" file
-Click the "Inventory" button to the lower left of the screen
-Double-Click the center "armor" tile
-Enter "bast_rev_r" in the blank field, click OK
-Click OK again (lower right)
-Click Save (lower right)
-Save To your override folder. (I'd suggest your desktop, then drag it from there just in case there were any misspelled file names)  The file MUST be named  unk44_evilbast.utc


I should mention if you do this edit, svösh's original red will be unavailable (from the confrontation point and afterwards) without using cheat codes.
