So... any hardcore Bastila fans out there? Who am I kidding? Of course you’re out there. If there’s a Knights of the Old Republic website, they’ll be around. As we celebrated Jennifer Hale’s birthday last month, who voiced Bastila, I noticed that the picture I made to celebrate the occasion was a popular hit, way more popular than any of the other birthdays we have celebrated here at FileFront.

As our section gets our second mod from the talented Kristy Kistic, we get a mod that focuses on new clothing for Bastila that is for the original Knights of the Old Republic game. The good news is that they really help make her look sexy. The great news is that there are a whopping 33 different skins to choose from. The bonuses you get for wearing the new clothing are in the readme file.

To access these great new skins, you can use the KSE or have your cheats activated and type...

giveitem bas_unchained_51-83 (the numbers start with 51 and end with 83)

Make sure you use one number at a time when using the “giveitem” code. The mod uses the TSL Patcher for easy installation and .2da file merging. Also read the readme for other instructions. Enjoy the new Bastila clothing skins! :D

Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

Comes with 33 skins and I actually put a little effort into the gui icons this time. Just run the installer. For anyone interested in knowing, I did ask permission from Chainz.2da about using the metallic lines. There was originally going to be two separate mods - one for the short skins and one for the long skins. I made a new model for the long skins because the skin needed to be remapped on it. I decided against this however, and put everything into one mod. I'm not sure most people will notice the area that needed remapping anyway.

Defense +3 (Defense bonus 10)

How to use these skins for your PC:

Open your appearance.2da in the kotor tool 2da editor.
Find the appearance you want to use these skins for and scroll over to the modelf column.
Replace the entry with P_BastilaBE
Scroll over to the texf column.
Replace the entry with P_BastilaBE
Click on a different cell and save the appearance.2da file.


Extra:

If you want to encounter Bastila on the temple summit in these robes then drop the unk44_evilbast.utc file into the override. She will appear in the black short robes. To change this to some other color or item open the file in a gff editor and browse to Equip_ItemList / 0 / EquippedRes. FYI: to have Bastila appear in these robes when you fight her or when she rejoins your party requires replacing the entire unk_m44ac rim (unk_m44ac.rim and unk_m44ac_s.rim) to avoid naming conflicts.

Uninstall:

Use the provided program if you can.
