One of the things that was very exciting when playing Knights of the Old Republic for the first time was all the new items you get and when you found something you’ve never found before, especially later in the game, you would get all excited about it to find out what it could do to enhance your character or party members.

Lord Zapharos is familiar to the JK3Files FileFront site, so this is his KotorFiles debut. What he brings is many new items to the table, including new color crystals to put in your lightsabers if the seven colors that come with the game weren’t enough for you. You also have modifications done to how many feats you get per level and Force Powers, which are very extreme to how many you get per level based on the class you choose.

The one thing I would have done differently if I was the author was use the higher quality TGA files for the lightsaber blades instead of the lower quality ones for those who play their games at a high end of their graphic cards. Some of the files you have to manually put in the override folder while the critical ones will use the TSL Patcher because of .2da file merging that possibly needs to be done. Enjoy the mod! :D

    DESCRIPTION:
	This mod adds 29 base items ingame, 13 additional new color crystals, and changes feat points and
    force power points gained ingame to make the game more realistic and fun.





    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
	This is pretty simple - run ItemsandGameplay.exe to upload the base files to your Override folder.
    Then, copy the files in Put_this_in_override to your Override folder as well (don't copy the actual
    folder, just the files inside it.  This allows for the new color crystals - you don't have to add them if
    you don't want to).  Then go play!





    **FEATURES**
	This modification adds the following color crystals (most are unique):
	*Please note that all color crystals shown here can be bought from Adum Larp on Dantooine.  Other 
    crystals will be sold by the first vendor on Tatooine or found by talking to various people or looting 
    certain corpses.

		Indigo
		Magenta
		Orange
		Pale Green
		Silver
		Viridian
		Golden (found on Nemo's corpse on Dantooine)

    	INTENSE:*

		*Intense colors are different because they have vivid colors or non-white saber cores

	This modification also adds new "super" items that YOU WILL RECEIVE INGAME.  You do NOT need to use
    cheats to get the items, although some items are tricky to get - some are received through dialogue and
    others are looted from corpses or bought from shops.  The items have descriptions ingame, so only their 
    codes are listed here:

	Lastly, this modification changes feats and force powers, as well as other subtle aspects of the game.
    Most important is the force and feat gains per level, modeled below:

	SOLDIER:
		40 feat points total
	SCOUT:
		30 feat points total
	SCOUNDREL:
		20 feat points total
	CONSULAR:
		40 force powers total
	SENTINEL:
		30 force powers total
	GUARDIAN:
		20 force powers total

	It is recommended that Soldiers become Guardians, Scouts become Sentinels, and Scoundrels become
    Consulars.  You will also find that you will gain more than one feat/power per level occasionally - the
    Soldier and Consular classes actually gain up to 5 feats/powers per level - so get excited!  You will also
    receive different feats per level for all the classes - you no longer receive many feats/powers in the
    beginning, but will do so later (all classes receive certain feats/powers on the same levels, thereby
    evening out the classes).  No class gains feats/powers it can't have, however.
	Also important is that level requirements for feats and powers have changed.  While it is not a
    visible change, most powers and feats have higher level requirements.  This accomplishes two things: one,
    it forces the player to experiment with different feats while they wait for master-rank feats; two, this
    compensates for the increased amount of feats and powers per level.  I hope you enjoy these features.
	Droids have changed somewhat for the better, but have not been largely affected on any levels.  They
    don't have too many feats anyways.





    BUGS:
	Be aware that this mod is not designed to be compatible with any other mods.  While there is a likely
    chance you can use this with other modifications without consequence, avoid any mods changing feat/force
    power gains or saber colors.  Some item modifications will also have trouble with this, as well as some
    drop modifications.
	Lastly, without using cheats, certain items will be unavailable to your previous save games.  For
    instance, if you have already visited or bought from Adum Larp's shop on Dantooine, in most cases he will
    not sell the color crystals - this is the same with the Tatooine shop.  Any other items will not appear
    in similar cases - I recommend you start with a new character, anyways - it's more fun and you gain more
    feats/force powers than before!
