When playing the game, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords; you may have noticed that there were some differences in the Jedi classes that you can both be in the first Knights of the Old Republic game. When Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was made by Obsidian, they changed who the Jedi Guardian, Jedi Sentinel, and Jedi Consular progressed. There were differences in the amounts of feats you could get and some of them had differences in skills points and specialties.
Darth Windu has migrated to the land of FileFront with Knights of the Old Republic modding with this release being his debut in this area of FileFront. He already has releases for the Empire at War section. This mod makes individual changes to the different Jedi classes you can be in the first Knights of the Old Republic game to reflect how you progress in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
One of the things in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords that your character can do is regenerate their health slowly. This was not a feature in the first Knights of the Old Republic game. The author added that feature for this mod release.
The details on how exactly how this mod will work are in the readme file. Keep in mind that there are .2da files in this release, but it is one of those types of mods with specific types of .2da files that aren’t necessary needed to be used with the TSL Patcher. It’s one of those if you have any of those types of .2da files in your override folder already, you have to make a choice on which one you rather use because they just can’t work together the way they’re designed. KotOR2-style rebalance for KotOR v1.1 by Darth Windu -------------- This mod is to rebalance KotOR to reflect the changes made in KotOR. Why? Because I could mainly, but also because the Sentinal seemed to be too weak, and it seemed like a good idea to change things. Changes: -------- 1. All Classes - now all classes have the same attack rating - Health automatically regenerates slowly NOTE: I tried to get Regeneration to work, but just can't get it. I've left the file in, but don't be suprisied if it doesn't work. 2. Jedi Guardian - gains Demolitions as class skill - gains two extra feats 3. Jedi Sentinal - gains Computer Use, Stealth and Security as class skills - gains two extra skill points - gains two extra feats 4.
