Neutral Side Mod



iLike_Speed returns with his second mod sent to us and another mod focusing on Force Powers for the original Knights of the Old Republic game. I really like the idea behind this mod as many of you also will once I describe what you’re getting. I can see this become a very popular mod.

There are many of you out there that love to play the either light side or the dark side of the Force. You choose your path that you enjoy in the game. But there was always one issue and that is the selection of Force Powers. What I mean is there would be light siders that would want to use some dark side powers like maybe choke or lightning. The game is designed so that it penalizes you if you’re using Force Powers outside of your alignment, meaning it docks more points off of your Force meter. However if you use something like Force Heal as a light sider, you use less Force points because it’s in your Force alignment. Are you following me here?

What this mod does is turn all of your Force Powers to be either light side or dark side powers. You choose which one you want to use. An example would be that all of your dark side powers like choke, lightning, and plague become light side powers if you choose all Force Powers to be light side. The opposite happens when you make all Force Powers dark side, like heal, destroy droid, and stasis.

The only drawback would be if you make all powers dark side and you have two light side using party members (remember Jolee is neutral) having penalties using normal light side powers. You may want to cheat their alignment for the game to help counter act that if that bugs you. This could also be an advantage to your enemies since they’re dark siders and if you make all powers light side, they’ll really suffer using their dark powers against you.

This mod uses the TSL Patcher for easy installation and .2da file merging. Anyway, enjoy the mod! :D

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I Version


There are two versions of this MOD, each one completely different 
depending on gameplay style.  One version is to install the 
"ALL FORCE POWERS EVIL" MOD.  With this all force powers automatically
become evil thus taking away the point disadvantage normally if one 
were to play the light side and use a dark force power.  Same thing 
with the "ALL FORCE POWERS GOOD" MOD. A player could be completely 
evil and on the dark side, yet use a power such as "Stasis Field" 
and it would be as if using any other dark power. This MOD is for 
those who find it annoying that they can't play between the light 
and dark side, being neutral but must pick a side.  Now, the 
opportunities are unlimited.


Simply use the installation program and enjoy!

Just don't try and install both at the same time because it might
screw up your game, for me it just made the universal powers good,
and the light side powers evil.


Replace the spells.2da file in the override folder with the original
