Description

Today is a special day. I get the privilege to review a mod from ChAiNz.2da. As you can tell I’m very excited. You will see a reason why I’m excited when you read what this mod has to offer. This won’t be the only one by ChAiNz.2da that will make this site. The other privilege is this is his first mod he ever made over a year in a half ago (has been that long already?).

This will be the second mod to grace FileFront that featured Darth Revan’s robes. The bonus part about these robes is they are upgradeable (stats of the upgrades in the readme). That doesn’t happen very often with robes in the original KOTOR game. Also, you get two new lightsabers. A standard single bladed saber and a double-bladed one. That way you can have your choice for those who are fans of both types of lightsabers. I’ve always said that giving choices to the players is always a bonus. :D

This particular mod that features the robes only includes the masked version of Revan. Personally, that is my favorite way to wear Revan’s robes. My main reason for that preference is because of the clipping issues you have. If your PC isn’t wearing the mask, the face will at times clip through the hood. That usually annoys me, so that won’t happen with this particular mod. Just blame Bioware for not completing the model. ;)

The single and double-bladed lightsabers are upgradeable (stats are included in the readme). Please read the readme about how the upgrades work. Also read the readme very carefully when installing this mod. There are different places that you get to chose (choices are always good) from when getting these new items. If you just put everything in the override without going over the instructions, you can screw up your game or crash it.

Adds custom Revan items (with history description). ALL upgradeable!!


1) Revan's Robes - upgradeable FULL robes that uses in-game model (mask, cape, hood)

	- Defense 5, Strength +4, Wisdom +3, Regeneration +1, Light**
	- Charisma +3, requires upgrade
	- Regeneration Force Points +2, requires upgrade
	- Defense +2, requires upgrade
	- Improved Saves (universal) +2, requires upgrade
	- Damage Immunity 10% (universal), requires upgrade
	- Bonus Feat: Implant Level 1-3, requires upgrade



2) Revan's Lightsaber - upgradeable (DON"T REMOVE Star Forge Crystal)

	- Keen
	- Massive Criticals, 1d8
	- Regeneration Force Points +1
	- Enhancement +2
	- Bonus Feat: Master Toughness
	- Bonus Feat: Force Focus & Improved Force Focus
	- Light**



3) Revan's Double Bladed Lightsaber - upgradeable (DON"T REMOVE Star Forge Crystal)

	- Keen
	- Massive Criticals, 1d8
	- Regeneration Force Points +1

** I added the 'Light' attribute to the items (all) because in certain instances it has a very sweet visual effect in the game. For an example, just walk closer to certain placeables (ie-upgrade bench) and watch! Even better if you flourish your weapon. Has a light strobing effect (more realistic) for sabers, plus makes the Revan Robes shine much better. The effect is easily removed using Fred Tetra's Kotor Tool if it causes problems or game slow down.

Installation: 
Just extract the files you want to your Kotor Override directory. 
At the console (cheats must be enabled) type:

giveitem g_w_lghtsbr25		-  Revan's Lightsaber
giveitem g_w_dblsbr025		-  Revan's Double-Bladed Lightsaber
giveitem revan_mod_robes	-  Revan's Robes


++IMPORTANT++  The zip file also contains placeables considering where you would like to find the items in game (for those who don't want to use the console). Just extract the contents of the particular placeable (location) files into your Override directory. ONLY CHOOSE 1 OF THE 3 PLACEABLES, otherwise you'll wind up with 3 complete sets! ALSO, if you choose to use a placeable, it may be necessary to add all 3 items to your override. Otherwise you may get a 'null grenade' (or crash).Contains placeables for:

Taris Undercity - Sith corpse where you find the Rakghoul serum
Taris Sith Base - Strongbox where you fight the Governor
Dantooine Ruins - On Nemo

Be sure to read the datapads (in-game) for the explanations of why you found the items there ;)

++ There is also an included upcrystals.2da file. If you are currently using this type of file (other lightasaber mod), DO NOT OVERWRITE with this one. Some editing will be required.

Using Fred Tetra's Kotor Tool (see special thanks)

-open your existing upcrystals.2da in your Override folder

- Follow this diagram:
