Sith Items

I think everybody gets a little excited when they download Fred’s KOTOR Tool, install it, and see all the modding they can do. Some of the simple forms of modding can go a long way depending on what you do and how much people in general will like it because of the idea it is based on. Then there are others who got so excited when they realized that they can edit stuff and want to show everybody what they have done.

Darth_Voldemort is back with some of simple changes to some UTI files. The changes are based on the most common heavy blaster, vibro sword, stun baton, and the Sith Uniform you need to use to get past the guard at the entrance to go down to the Lower City on Taris.

The weapons that have been edited are given some enhancements you can see in some of the screenshots provided. Mostly it focuses on only being used if on the dark side and has some bonuses if you go up against light sided foes. Now the Sith uniform is another story since it now gives you bonuses if you still want to run around in them. Personally in my game, I make it so I use two; one for me, and one for Carth. I did that because I thought it made more sense if both you and Carth looked like Soldiers to get access to certain areas and because of what Gadon Thek said when you give him the uniform: “Thanks for the uniforms. You won't need them with these security papers anyway.”

I also did what the author did and give them some bonus protection, but it’s different than what the author did, but nevertheless, it’s a change I think many people will welcome if you’re one of those types who can’t mod or are not willing to learn. It maybe a little overpowered depending on your taste because of all the resistance it will give you when attacked. You’ll just have to see for yourself if they’re the right fit for you. Enjoy! :D
