In a bizarre service update Electronic Arts has ended all online services for Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. Check it out:

Dear EA Nation Members,

The following is an important update regarding online service for some older EA titles.

Servers for the games listed below will be shut down on the indicated dates. You may continue to play the games online up until these dates, but certain community programs may begin to close down prior to the shutdown dates.

All of us at EA would like to thank you for your valued participation in our online gaming community and hope that your enthusiasm for these games extends to our current lineup and beyond.

EA has always shutdown service for EASports PC titles, and console online games about two years after it was originally released, as to why EA would shutdown online services for a PC FPS is beyond us.

We here at Total Medal of Honor will be getting in contact with EA to find out why online services was ended for Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, which as of last week had higher online player numbers then Medal of Honor: Airborne.

[Update] EA Community Manager Blackhat has released this statement about the Pacific Assault servers.

"An update on the MOH servers -

The Pacific Assault servers are going back up as we speak. You should see some functionality already, but it will take up to 5 days to restore full functionality. Sit tight, and thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the patience, guys, and sorry I didn’t have more information sooner!
