The Official MOH: Pacific Assault website has been updated with a new developer diary from Benson Russell. He gives an inside look at The Carrot. Here's a snippet from this diary: [quote]As a game designer, and specifically for a level designer, understanding your carrot is probably the most crucial ideas that you can apply to your work. When playing any game, ask yourself this question, "Why am I choosing to continue to play this?" The answers to that question will help you to grow as a designer and learn new techniques and ideas. The question is even more valid when playing through any game you are working on, as this will help to determine if it is fun. It is a big step towards making your game one that is played all the way through, talked about and enjoyed for ages, as opposed to being uninstalled after the first few levels and tossed into the corner.
