Xfire is a wonderful new tool i have just personally finished playing around with. Think of it ac ICQ mixed in with a Game/Server Browser. It will find your friends no matter which game your friends are playing, the server browser they're using, or gaming service they're signed up with. Some of its features include:
  • Shows you when and where your friends are playing and lets you join their game with one click;
  • Automatically tells your friends if you're "up for a game";
  • Shows you where your friends of your friends are playing online-- so you can always find someone to play with;
  • Lets you receive and queue instant messages during a game without screwing up your game play.
  • And one of the most important features is that you can now Instant Message without messing up your game or minimizing it. Game Support Xfire currently supports the following games:
