MyInternetServices and Total Airborne's Artem a.k.a "Spetsnaz" & Greg a.k.a "Napoleon" recently attended the second summit for a chance to play Medal of Honor Airborne. As promised earlier in the day, we have our very own preview for you guys to check out written by Spetsnaz. Here's the intro to the article to get you started: For many of us, it was one game that started it all. Everyone took the nose dive into the gaming scene in their own way. For me, it was on the virtual beaches of Omaha Beach in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (2002). What started as a weekend away from the real world, turned into a nightly addiction that left my eyes baggy and my speech slurred. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, or MOH:AA (pronounced “mow-ha” by the addicts), was by far the most successful release in the Medal of Honor series to date. It scored very high with the top PC game reviewers in the world and set the stage for many World War 2 based first person shooters that blended arcade and realism like never before. Fast forward 5 years. After a bundle of expansion packs for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and a handful of new releases for the Medal of Honor series, Electronic Arts is ready for another go at the series – a game focused on the United States paratroopers of World War 2. Noted by the developers we met as “the best” installment of the Medal of Honor series thus far, it has a lot to live up to. We visited the EALA studios for an in depth look at the single player version of, what we believe to be, a game that will blow Medal of Honor: Allied Assault out of the water – that’s right, we said it.
