How will it affect the MoHAA community? I'm not sure, but either not at all, or it'll make more players play AA, 'cause they can't play Airborne. How will it affect MoHA community? Pretty bad, less people will want it, if they can't mod it. No mods = less game-life. I mean, look at AA -- Six years with a semi-active community. (By the way, we missed the Six-Year-Anniversary since MoHAA was released, I think..) Modding, while it may not be everything, can really help a community stay active after the game has become out-classed.

Wow. No modding tools, eh? God, that sucks. EA can be so stuck up sometimes.

I have created the next news release for PA: for immediate release from bobzilla: Redwood City, Calif. – October 17, 2007 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced that its discontinuing all sales of its newly released Medal of Honor Airborne game. Due to technical problems that were unsolvable by it's team of "experts", it's inability to release an SDK, and extremely poor sales, EAGAMES has decided the best course of action is not to try any further fix or repair..as the game was design faulty from the ground up, using a pre-release version of the engine and would require an emmense amount of dollars and time to complete or repair. EAGAMES apologizes for any inconvienence that may have occured with its loyal fans (poof), and we understand that sales of any future EAGAMES my be jeapordized. Those that purchased the game in the last 10 days may return them to the store they purchased where we have installed shredding machines for our customers to use. (P.S. These shredding machines will work the PC cd version only, updated shredding machines will be in place when the MAC version of the game is release!) Thanks from our production team (mostly gone now), our managment (bonus's recalled) and our loyal fan base (poof). EAGAMES haha

pitty this game went worse than pacific assault did , at least after some patches the p.a. went better online mp (invader i mainly played) so i saw it a bit taking off in a way till newer games came out. i bought airborne for 47 euro's 2 months back , when i installed it i couldnt play it due to my older card which wasnt supported (x800xt) , then on uninstalled & waited till i make my new pc with newer vga to install again to play it. after all i heard about this game lately...pitty but i dont feel like installing it....at least it will be a collector's game for myself ,until i hear/see any news of new maps/patches etc etc to think of installing it. i dont mind that i bought it , i just mind that again ea gave me & some others like me an unfinished product (to test) with my hard earned money. it seems thats the way it goes lately with pc games , cod2 & 4 suffer from mp cheating & patches dont give what games need. bia series gone sleeping it seems too , we as ww2 history fans for these games are left a bit forgotten , i will keep supporting any future fps ww2 games there will come out but i wont buy them soon after release , i learned my lesson/s since p.a. , i just gave ea again my support for this new game on time of release here in europe , just pitty. good luck all & have fun.

Simply, few people BOUGHT MoH:A. It's only hope is Obj coming next patch (with other things like unscoped Springfield and G43) but the fact there is no mod tools hurts a bit. There should still be modding able to be done to MoH:A, but just in the attributes (like weapon actions, such as damage, recoil, etc.)
